BJ is a resident of Muskoka and has been engaged in people oriented professions all his life. With his cheerful and relaxed personality he will put you at ease and, considering your wishes, create a beautiful, heart-warming and memorable personalized celebration respecting your beliefs, your personal choices and traditions.
You will be able to openly discuss details such as: timing, involvement of others, and choices for readings, meditation or prayers.
The ceremony can be as spiritual, traditional or contemporary as you wish.
BJ is a Lay Chaplain of the Unitarian Universalist tradition and a member of the Huronia Unitarian Fellowship, which means that he provides meaningful spiritual secular and/or religious service without strings attached, without a dominating theology.
BJ is proud to welcome and officiate at mixed faith weddings as well as at weddings of same gender couples. He also performs ceremonies at Funerals, Memorial services, Child naming and at celebration events of other important personal rites of passage.
